Finding Your Base Size

Your base size is determined by the smallest length wrap needed to do a Front Wrap Cross Carry (FWCC). Your base size will allow you to do all of the full length carries. The average base size is a size 6 (4.6 meters). Most people between 130-180 lbs can use a size 6 as their base, some wearers between 180-220 lbs prefer a size 6 as well. However, if you are new to wrapping it may be best to err on the side of a longer wrap. People under 130 lbs may use a size 5 as their base and very petite people may even use a size 4. Most people over 180 lbs will use a size 7 as their base.
